Transformers Issue #1

Hi Everyone


My plan is to post the newsletter into the Transform Fitness Blog, but one month after I post.


Hello fellow Transform Fitness fanatics!

 

My name is Selim Tlili. I am a high school science teacher and I write professionally about about science and education. I've been a Transform Fitness client since 2019.

 

I've been writing my own newsletter for a few years now and Paul asked me if I would be interested in writing for Transform Fitness. I said I would be honored!

 

I am a huge fan of these guys and everyone I have worked with at Transform Fitness. This is the first work out system that I have said "yes I can see myself doing this for the rest of my life".


Transform Fitness helped me change my life. When I first came to Transform I was nearly 400 pounds. I am now at 230 pounds.



My personal transformation was due to a variety of factors (carbs are the crazy French girlfriend that you know will kill you but you can't stay away from) but working out here was a key factor. I began enjoying working out and feeling my body change. Activating muscles I didn't know I had was exhilarating!

 

I discovered that I really enjoy learning about my body and harnessing all of its potential. Sure I would like to built like Paul or Nick... I guess.... I mean... I have the hair part down so...




But you know what is hotter than having an eight pack or whatever it is that Nick and Paul have? Not needing to hire someone to help you get off the toilet in your eighties!

 

I suspect that's what most of us Transform fans are looking for - a way to make our body work to its peak capacity until our last days. That is fundamentally what motivates me.

 

I still have a tremendous amount to learn. And that is what I am going to do; continue to learn about my body and what I can do with it.

 

So over the next few months I will be writing these essays and sharing my work with Dela, Evan and all the other trainers. I also plan to sit down with the trainers and ask them about their fitness journeys and what excites them too so you can get to know them.

 

This summer I am going to try out the Transform Fitness six week intense summer classes. I am very excited about what Transform is doing as it is expanding.

 

I told Paul that I am happy to take on this newsletter on one main condition; I don't want to use AI to write some kind of SEO optimized sales pitch. I already get enough emails from companies trying to get me to buy more stuff and I have learned to ignore those emails.

My promise to you is that each of these newsletters will be written by me (with Paul and Nick checking in) and not by AI. I want to document what I am learning and share my insights with other people who are interested in Transform and hopefully add something better than 90% of whatever you're getting in your inbox.

 

Paul agreed - he will share upcoming specials and such but ultimately he is looking for me to help keep in touch with people and to just share my experiences as I dive into topics that I already care about. 

 

I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with you and hearing from you too - I am excited to find ways to share my enthusiasm with people who are also looking to become the best possible versions of themselves.

I love the fact that I am stronger and better in tune with my body in my mid 40s than I ever was in my entire life!
